Today we finished the first week of the #IE_Summerbooster program, an interdisciplinary effort between all five Schools at IE University, aimed at Master and Bachelor students and recent graduates with an interest in a range of diverse topics, held in a #hybrid format, with students attending classes physically and online, simultaneously.
During this first week, in which IE School of Architecture and Design was in charge, our School Dean: Martha Thorne and Professor Manuel Perez Romero, run the workshop “The City of the Future”, to promote an understanding of the interrelationship of #city systems, people, and our environment. Participation and interaction were key!
Some years ago, at IE School of Architecture and Design, professors Manuel Pérez Romero, David Goodman and Nenad Katic, developed a MOOC (Massive On-line Open Course), called “Making Architecture”, which today is an ideal preparation for those interested in undertaking an undergraduate degree in Architecture.
